These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Ezyiah platform, website, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Services"). By accessing or using Ezyiah, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. About Ezyiah

Ezyiah is an Australian-based AI-powered accounting and tax assistance platform designed to assist accountants, tax professionals, and businesses with data reconciliation, reporting, and preparation tasks. Ezyiah does not provide tax, legal, or financial advice and does not lodge returns or statements on behalf of users.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a binding contract to use Ezyiah. If you use Ezyiah on behalf of a business or professional practice, you confirm you have authority to bind that entity.

3. Nature of the Service (Important Disclaimer)

  • Ezyiah provides assistance and preparation tools only.
  • All outputs generated by AI are indicative and informational.
  • Human review is mandatory before relying on any output.
  • Final responsibility for accuracy, compliance, and lodgement rests entirely with the accountant, tax agent, or business user.
  • Ezyiah does not act as a registered tax agent, BAS agent, accountant, or legal practitioner.

4. User Obligations

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, lawful, and up-to-date information
  • Review all AI-generated outputs before use
  • Comply with Australian tax laws and professional standards
  • Maintain confidentiality of login credentials
  • Use the Services only for lawful purposes

You must not:

  • Rely solely on AI outputs without verification
  • Upload unlawful, misleading, or unauthorised data
  • Reverse engineer or misuse the platform
  • Use Ezyiah to provide unlicensed professional services

5. Account Security

You are responsible for safeguarding your account credentials. Ezyiah is not liable for unauthorised access caused by your failure to secure your account.

6. Data Uploads & Ownership

  • You retain ownership of all data you upload.
  • You grant Ezyiah a limited licence to process data solely for providing the Services.
  • Ezyiah does not claim ownership over your financial or client data.

7. AI Limitations

You acknowledge that:

  • AI outputs may contain errors or omissions
  • Results depend on the quality of uploaded data
  • No AI system is 100% accurate

8. Fees & Billing

  • Fees (if applicable) are displayed at the time of purchase
  • Subscription fees are billed in advance
  • No refunds except where required by Australian Consumer Law

9. Availability & Modifications

Ezyiah may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

10. Intellectual Property

All platform content, branding, software, and IP remain the property of Ezyiah or its licensors. You may not copy or reuse platform materials without permission.

11. Limitation of Liability

  • To the maximum extent permitted by law:
  • Ezyiah is not liable for indirect, consequential, or financial losses
  • Liability is limited to the amount paid for the Services in the preceding 12 months

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Ezyiah against claims arising from misuse of the Services, reliance on AI outputs without review, or breach of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms. You may cancel your account at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
