Ezyiah Pricing FAQs

Common questions about Ezyiah's BAS reconciliation software pricing, plan structure, and ROI for Australian accounting firms.

How much does BAS reconciliation software cost in Australia?
Ezyiah starts at $127 per month on annual billing. That includes users being able to add unlimited clients, unlimited live bank feeds, AI Memory, and every report including BAS, P&L, TPAR, Depreciation and Transactions Report. No per-user fees. No extra charge for bank feeds. No add-ons. Annual billing saves 25% on every plan. Ezyiah is a business expense and 100% tax deductible for Australian accounting professionals.
Is there a free trial?
Yes, and it is genuinely free. No credit card, no commitment. Every new firm gets 1,000 reconciled transactions to run on real client data. That is enough to upload a bank statement, watch Ezyiah categorise every transaction, generate a real BAS, and see AI Memory start picking up your firm's coding preferences. Most firms know within the first reconciliation whether Ezyiah is right for them.
What is included in every Ezyiah plan?
Every plan from Starter to Scale includes unlimited clients, unlimited live bank feeds, AI Memory at both firm and client level, every report Ezyiah generates, and rollover on unused transactions. Priority Support is included from Core upwards and Dedicated Onboarding from Growth upwards. The only thing that changes between plans is monthly reconciled transaction volume. Everything else is the same across the board.
How fast is Ezyiah compared to manual reconciliation?
A full-day manual reconciliation per client becomes a simple 10 minute review session. Ezyiah reconciles thousands of transactions in under two minutes, applies GST treatment, and produces a BAS-ready report in the same workflow. A firm managing 221 clients told us their team was spending roughly three weeks every BAS quarter just on bank coding. After switching to Ezyiah, that same work was done before their team logged in on Monday morning. AI Memory compounds speed every quarter as it learns each client's coding patterns, so the longer your firm uses it, the faster each client gets processed. The time your team was spending on data entry goes back to client work.
Is Ezyiah cheaper than Xero, MYOB or QuickBooks?
Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks each charge per organisation. Every client your firm manages needs their own subscription. A firm managing 50 clients on Xero's Grow plan at $75 per month is paying $3,750 a month in client subscriptions alone, before any reconciliation work has started. Ezyiah charges one flat monthly fee that includes unlimited clients and unlimited live bank feeds. That same firm of 50 clients pays $127 a month on annual billing. Plans scale based on monthly transaction volume, not the number of clients, so as your firm grows you only pay more when your transaction volume grows.
What happens to unused transactions?
They roll over. Unused reconciled transactions carry forward each month while your subscription is active. If you cancel, any unused balance ends at the close of your billing period. Rollover applies to every plan from Starter to Scale so nothing goes to waste during slower months.
What happens if I run out of transactions mid-month?
Live Bank Feeds queue instead of stopping. Incoming transactions wait safely until your next billing cycle begins or until you purchase a top-up pack. Nothing is lost. Most firms with high-volume feeds either upgrade their plan or buy a top-up pack ahead of BAS quarter-end when transaction volume spikes.
What do top-up packs cost?
Top-up packs are available to any subscriber at any time. A 2,500 transaction pack is $85, 5,000 is $175, 12,500 is $425, and 25,000 is $799. They are most useful for absorbing the BAS quarter-end spike or for months where a new client with a large backlog comes on board.
Are there hidden fees?
No. The monthly plan price is the full price. No per-user fees, no setup costs, no surcharges for invoices, no charges for connecting live bank feeds or for support. Live Bank Feeds, AI Memory, and every report are already included. If pricing ever changes, existing subscribers are told ahead of time and never auto-charged at a new rate without consent.
Do you charge per user?
No. Every plan includes unlimited users and unlimited client profiles. Add as many partners, accountants, bookkeepers or admin staff as your firm needs at no extra cost. Pricing scales by transaction volume, not by how many people are using the software.
Can I change or cancel my plan anytime?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade or cancel directly from your account dashboard at any time. Monthly plans have no minimum term. Annual plans run for 12 months from purchase and your unused transaction balance stays accessible until the term ends. Your data is exportable at any point, before or after cancellation.
I am an existing Ezyiah customer. Does V2 pricing apply to me?
No. Every existing subscriber is grandfathered at V1 pricing for as long as the subscription stays active. You also get all V2 features including Live Bank Feeds, AI Memory and expanded reports at no extra cost. V2 pricing only applies if you actively change or upgrade your plan. No forced migration, no expiry on grandfathered pricing.
Is there a cheaper alternative to Xero for Australian accounting firms?
Xero looks cheaper on the surface, but it charges per subscription tier and those costs grow as your client base does. On top of that, reconciliation in Xero is still manual work, which means staff hours or a bookkeeper sitting there doing it. When you add up the actual cost, most firms are paying significantly more than the subscription price alone. Ezyiah starts at $127 per month on annual billing with unlimited clients and unlimited live bank feeds. No extra charges as you grow. Ezyiah automates the reconciliation and BAS preparation entirely. Use the ROI calculator on this page to see exactly what your firm saves in time and billable hours when reconciliation stops being a manual job. For most practices, the subscription pays for itself within the first BAS quarter. Ezyiah is also 100% tax deductible for Australian accounting professionals.
