We built this for ourselves first
Ezyiah started inside our own accounting firm. Every quarter, we spent days reconciling transactions, fixing categories and cleaning up client books. We were paying for accounting software but still doing most of the work ourselves. So we decided to build something that could actually do it for us.
Then we realised it wasn't just us
Once we started using Ezyiah, we got through our work much faster. Then we spoke to other accounting firms and realised they had the same problems. Too much manual work, late nights before deadlines and accountants spending more time fixing books than helping clients. That's when we knew we were solving a much bigger problem.
So we built Ezyiah
We wanted AI that actually does the work for you, not just helps with it. So we built our own AI from scratch, designed around Australian accounting rules with help from real accountants. Ezyiah handles everything from daily reconciliation to preparing accounting reports, and remembers how each client's books are handled, so there's less work to repeat every quarter.
We're just getting started
Since launching, we've kept building what our users need, from unlimited clients and live bank feeds to reconciling years of transactions in minutes. Now business owners can use Ezyiah too, with their accountant able to review their books. Our goal has always been to replace outdated accounting software with something that's faster, easier to use and actually does the work for you. We don't want to build another version of Xero. We want to build something so much better that you never want to go back.
A note from our founders
Ezyiah started inside our own accounting firm. Every quarter we watched the same cleanup come first, and the advisory work always had to wait.
So we built something to fix it for ourselves. Once it worked, we realised every firm has the same issue, so we opened it up to them, and later to businesses.
Accountants are the most trusted advisers their clients have, and they deserve software that treats them that way.
Every feature since has come from a client or someone on our team telling us something still wasn't right, and we built each one because someone asked.
